Stockport County will be back in the football league next season!
Another season of the Vanarama National League is complete & with it comes the normal rotation of teams. So far we have confirmed that we be losing Kings Lynn, Weymouth and Dover Athletic through relegation, Stockport County have been confirmed as champions and will therefore be promoted to League 2 next season along with either Solihull Moors or Grimsby Town who will fight it out in next Weekends National League play-off final!
Joining the National League this season will be Oldham Athletic & Scunthorpe United following their disappointing season's in League 2 resulting in their relegation to step 1 of the non league pyramid. Also joining the National League will be; Maidstone after they were crowned champions of the National League South & Dorking Wanderers after their play off final win against Ebbsfleet. From the National League North, Gateshead will be back in the top flight of Non-League football after winning the National League North along with York City, who after their impressive cup in the FA Trophy, won the play-offs!.
